EARLY

Born in Korea but raised in America, Daniel grew up in the city of La Cresenta in California where his neighborhood seemed to have a common interest in music, specifically hip hop.

At the age of 19, Daniel joined a collective called Young Creation as an emcee, starting his music career on a site called Bandcamp. Young Creation is an artist collective based in Koreatown, Los Angeles led by EK and Lunick. At this time Daniel went by the name Daniel Prynne, also known as The Boy.

Later EK, founder of the group, had to move to once again which caused most of Young Creation to break off. Since four of the members lived in the same neighborhood of La Cresenta, they decided to stick together and form their own crew. In 2014, 42 Crew was then created. The members including AP, Neil, Nafla, Young West, and Daniel. Daniel released two solo music videos fin 2014 following the Life is 42 mixtape: FRESH AS F and 7 Gold Chains.

High with doubts and little recognition, Bloo fell into a deep depression almost giving up on his dreams as a rapper. "There was days I wouldn’t leave bed. I wouldn’t eat. All I did was sleep and drink," he said. He expressed his appreciation for his best friend, Niahn, for supporting and checking up on him in this time. Thankfully, a new opportunity arised and sparked a new start for Daniel: MKIT RAIN.

NOW

Loopy also was having little success and pressure to quit music himself. However, he decided to either start his own music label outside standards or leave the musical scene. January 22nd, 2016 MKIT RAIN released their first song and officially launched their label. Members including Nafla, Loopy, and Bloo. This was the time Daniel Prynne became Bloo. As stated in an interview the label was named when the group of friends were in a strip club seeing people throw dollar bills and talking about how one day they will be able to "MKIT RAIN" with their wealth and success. Bloo released his first mixtape known as Tony in June under MKIT RAIN and his career took off from there.

Bloo takes part in MKIT RAIN not only as an artist, but also as a fashion consultant. Often times he guides the team on hand gestures in music videos as well.

In April of the same year Owen Ovadoz joined. Then Young West from 42 joined in October and the team continued to grow as it is today. Niahn went solo after the downfall of Young Creation until January 2019 he joined MKIT RAIN to release his first EP and single under the label name. The other two members of 42, Neil and AP continue their solo work actively still collabing with MKIT RAIN artists.
